These are the terms that govern your use of Hone, an iOS app published by Jakub Pilch ("we", "us"). By installing and using Hone, you agree to these terms.

The app

Hone is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The app's structured summaries and AI consultant chat are generated by large language models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for verifying any business or strategic conclusions you draw from Hone's output before acting on them.

Pro subscription

Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription via the Apple App Store. The price displayed in the app is the price you'll be billed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's refund policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Hone to generate content that violates applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload the backend.
• Resell, redistribute, or repackage Hone's output as a product competing with Hone itself.

We may suspend access to cloud features at our discretion if these terms are violated.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of Hone is limited to the amount you've paid us in subscription fees in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date and post the new version at this URL. Continuing to use Hone after a change means you accept the updated terms.
